Christina,

Yes, Saturday, December 4th at 10am works for me.  I have cc Tina on this email.  She will contact you and get all of the information we need for the Baptism certificates.

I'm looking forward to it!

Christina,

We can definitely arrange for a private Baptism with just your family and friends present. I’d be happy to do the Baptism for you.

Let me know when you’re thinking. It doesn’t have to be on a Sunday. Whenever works best for you guys is when we’ll do it. I’m very flexible.

God Bless,

Fr. Francis

Hi Fr. Francis,

Hope you are doing well, and getting in some late rounds of golf with this beautiful weather we've been having! My husband and I are looking at options for having our son, Sam, baptised, and I was hoping you could answer a few questions for us.

In full transparency, we have not yet found our home parish yet. Since moving to Elmwood Park and due to COVID, we've bounced back and forth between a few parishes, but now with the baby, we're not comfortable going in person, and so have continued to watch livestream mass. I do feel at home at St. Josaphat, and would love to have Sam baptised there if possible. We looked on the website and saw the information stating that baptisms still happen with the entire community, but I wasn't sure if this was still true or not with COVID protocols? Since he isn't vaccinated, we're not comfortable bringing him to a full in person Mass, but I wasn't sure if it is possible to have a private baptism or if we would need to wait until we are more comfortable bringing him to a full in person mass?

Thank you so much for your guidance with this matter!
