Davide,
We are happy to welcome your group to our parish for your Advent Retreat on Saturday, December 12th. Our pews are already marked off so, you'll have no problem seating yourselves to maintain the appropriate social distance. I just ask that you sanitize your pews before you leave. I can show you where we keep our clorox wipes.
What time would you like to reserve the church for? Our only event on our calendar that day is our Saturday 5pm Mass. We open the church at around 4pm. So as long as you are gone by then, it shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks,
Fr. Francis

Dear Fr. Bitterman,
my name is Davide and I'm the responsible for the Communion and Liberation group here in Chicago.
As per the email thread below, I've asked Bishop Bartosic to help us find a church where we can have our Advent Retreat on the morning of Saturday December 12th and he suggested I contact you.
This year our Advent Retreat will consist of a reflection given by Fr. Ettore Ferrario, pastor of St. Peter church in St. Paul MN (https://churchofstpeternsp.org/people/fr-ettore-ferrario ), followed by a moment of silence and mass. This should take two to two and a half hours.
We are looking for a church since it makes it easier to follow social distancing requirements and procedures are already in place for that.
We understand the city of Chicago and the state of Illinois continue to modify COVID guidelines, so we can restrict the number of participants as needed.
I look forward to hearing from you regarding the possibility of using the church St. Josaphat for our retreat.
Thank you
Davide
