What's up with the scaffolding?

The scaffolding in the church is a good sign!

Because the exterior masonry work is coming to a close, we can now start repairing the water damage to the interior of the church. To do this safely, scaffolding has been erected in the sanctuary over the altar. The mural on the arch will be rolled up and removed while the work is being done. (When it is returned, see if you can locate where DePaul art students camouflaged water damage to the painting around the feet of the figures.) If all goes to plan, the scaffolding will be removed in August.

Did you know?? The last time we had scaffolding inside the church was in 2001!
