High School Youth Ministry

Here at St. Josaphat Youth Ministry (SJYM) building a welcoming, authentic community where you know that you can come to our gatherings to have fun and grow in faith together. We would love for you to be a part of it!

All high school students (9th-12th grade) are welcome to participate, regardless of your background. We strive to intentionally show love like God loves us, so we encourage you to be yourself and we will simply enjoy that you joined us!

Inviting friends is highly encouraged and they don't need to be a part of St. Josaphat Parish to participate.

Here are the events we have planned for the first semester of the school year, mark your calendars and make sure you're signed up for communication updates:

  • Color Wars, Sunday September 10th - Join us for an awesome and colorful time! We'll bring the color chalk powder and all you need to do is wear all white clothes. All the chalk we use is non-toxic and washable, but don't wear anything you wouldn't want to get messy! RSVP HERE: http://evite.me/huRfNFzBsU

  • Pumpkin Smash, Sunday October 22nd - If you've ever wanted to smash a pumpkin with a sledgehammer, this is the event for you! It's exactly what it sounds like and always a big hit.

  • Whirlyball, Sunday November 12th - Advertised as "the most fun you can have going 4 mph", this sport is a cross between basketball, lacrosse, and soccer all while in a bumper car. It's gonna be amazing! The cost will be $15 and you can find out more about it here: https://www.whirlyball.com/game-on#how-to-play

  • Christmas Party, Sunday December 3rd - Come enjoy a night with festive games, seasonal snacks, and a great time before end-of-the-semester testing. Last year we had a great time with "Fat Santa," see what's in store for this year!

The best way to keep in-touch is to join our communications list where we send out text and email reminders. To join you can go to this link SJYM Communications or text JOSAPHATYM to 84576.
