Education & Formation
Community Service Committee
The Community Service Committee helps organize the Christmas Giving Tree and other opportunities for outreach. Membership is open to all parishioners.
Interscholastic Sports
Currently St. Josaphat School competes interscholastically in basketball and volleyball for students in grades 5 - 8. Volunteers are needed to assist in teaching and coaching the students.
Liturgy Coordinators
The Liturgy Coordinator sees that materials are in order for the weekend Masses and all ministers are present. They also prepare the alter for Mass. Participation is open to all parishioners.
Liturgy Committee
The Parish Liturgy Committee meets monthly to plan the liturgical seasons and any special liturgical events, recuit and train liturgical ministers, and evaluate the liturgical prayer of the parish, recommending areas for development and expansion. Membership is open to all parishioners.
Children's Chorus

Art and Environment
Volunteers are needed to help with decorations to set the proper liturgical mood in the church at Christmas and Easter. Participation is open to all parishioners.

Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
St. Josaphat School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) keeps open the lines of communication between the schools and parish organizations, encourages parent involvement, raises funds for school needs not covered by tuition and participates in school family activities. The PTO sponsors a broad array of activities for the school children.

Parish Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council is a collaborative body that shares with the pastor in determining all the important matters that affect the life of the faith community. It is a representative group of serious, faith-filled Christian men and women who, as a body, vision, plan, oversee, coordinate, communicate, and evaluate parish life. Membership is open to all parishioners 16 years and older.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews monthly and quarterly financial reports, plans the annual budget, oversees the care of the parish facilities, reports to the parish community and determines fundraising needs and programs. Open to all adult parishioners. Finance Council meetings are open to all parishioners.
Parish Life
Hospitality Committee
Newly registered parishioners receive a special welcome and an invitation to become involved. This committee makes sure new members are welcomed by hosting parties for new members at the rectory. They are also called upon to help at special events.
Peace and Justice Committee
The Peace & Justice Committee helps the parish community through education, action and worship, to grow more aware of the in justices and problems of our city, nation and world. It offers opportunities for parishioners to learn, to pray and act on these concerns.
Spirtual Life
Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers assist in the distribution of the Holy Communion. Eucharistic Ministers find the experience to be prayerful and uplifting. Eucharistic Ministers are scheduled quarterly to fit their preference of Mass. As a group, Eucharistic Ministers meet once a year for reflection and discussion. Membership is open to adult parishioners who have completed their Sacraments of Initiation.
Ministers of the Word
The Ministers of the Word proclaim the Word of God. They are essential in making the liturgies meaningful and the assembly welcome. Ministers of the Word are scheduled to fit their preference of Mass. The group meets annually for reflection and additional training. Membership is open to adult parishioners.
Ministers of Care
The Ministers of Care have the unique responsibility of extending St. Josaphat Parish to parishioners in the hospital or nursing home, or who cannot leave their homes. The Ministers of Care visit and bring Communion at a mutually acceptable time. Ministers of Care receive training for this important work.
Gallery Singers & Noon Contemporary Ensemble
Our choirs have a reputation for excellence in liturgical singing. We have two parish choirs: our Gallery Singers and our Noon Contemporary Ensemble.
Cantors
Cantors assist at our weekend liturgies by leading the congregation in song and by singing solo pieces and various texts from the liturgy. If you are a fairly confident singer, it is not difficult at all to be trained as a cantor.
Ushers / Greeters
The ushers and greeters have the very important task of welcoming people into the church for services. They distribute appropriate materials for the congregational participation and take up the collection. At the end of the liturgy, they set up the church so that it will be ready for the next service. Participation is open to all parishioners.
