Networking: The Way of Connection Today and for a Lifetime
This 90-minute program is conducted by two career management specialists and members of the senior leadership team of Career Transitions Center of Chicago. They discuss the importance of clearly and compellingly conveying how you impact an organization or group of people through what you offer during a job search. A value statement conveys career direction and distinguishes you in all situations. In order to find the right opportunity, it’s important to learn and explore viable options. Through informational interviews, you can gain important industry and company insights, learn about possible positions and how to get them, determine and develop your distinction and how you convey the value you’d bring. Informational interviewing can be an excellent way to get to know someone, develop mutually serving connections and gain savvy and confidence!
