Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council is a group of faith-filled men and women, representative of the parish community, who help the pastor address aspects of parish life. Membership is open to parishioners 16 years of age and older.

The Pastor of St. Josaphat relies on the Parish Pastoral Council to help with the administration of the parish. We meet once a month from September to June to discuss our mission and vision for the parish and we work together to achieve those goals. Each of the members typically take on one of the mission goals as their area of focus for the year. The Parish Pastoral Council also helps the pastor to get a sense of the “pulse of the parish.” This is extremely important because it makes sure he is aware of all of the needs of our parishioners.
